I can't really comment on the strength, but they seem very stiff, giving a sporty / unforgiving ride. The anodized finished is very tough, and given rough treatment during installation of controls weems to stand up pretty well.

The Ritchey Comp Road Logic Drop Handlebars are what is called "ergo" style with various alteration the ramp slope to account for the shape of the hand. Although I think I was using them in the wrong application they were comfy on the ramps for long periods.
